About Omoba Ventures UK
“Omoba” means child of royalty in Yoruba and that’s how we want every customer to feel when they shop with us.
We started Omoba Ventures because finding good African groceries in this part of England was hard. The choice was limited, the trips were long, and sometimes the things you needed for a proper home-cooked meal just weren’t there.
So we built a store that has them. Proper rice and beans. Fresh leaves in weekly. Stockfish that smells like stockfish should. Suya spice with real heat. Jerk seasoning, ackee, callaloo and Caribbean favourites. Spices and staples from across West, East and Southern Africa and if we don’t stock what you grew up eating, tell us and we’ll source it.
We serve families across Bourne, Lincolnshire and right across the UK by online order, monthly subscription, and click & collect from our store at Wherry’s Lane, Bourne.
